Meet the Boutique!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve YOU! As we celebrate the boutique's 9 year anniversary and Customer Appreciation Week, we thought you should get to know all of us! Now it's time for the original, the OG, the reason WE ARE ALL HERE!! Name: Rachel How long have you been with a boutique by RC: OG. 9 years Fun fact or hidden talent: I know all the words to every Little Mermaid Song. ED Not sure if that's a fun fact or hidden talent, or both?! Hobbies/Free Time: I LOVE to watch my kids participate in activities. Most of all, I love watching my boys play baseball. Summer is my favorite season and it doesn't get much better than spending the day at the ball field with our baseball families! I love the sun and warm weather. Traveling to anywhere tropical makes my heart happy! During the colder months I enjoy watching the lastest limited series and binging reality TV. Favorite quote: What if we wake up tomorrow with only the things we thanked God for today? I'm a wife, a mom to three amazing kiddos, and the proud owner of a boutique by Rachel Clark. Jake and I have been married for nearly 14 years— we met in Midland shortly after he returned home from serving overseas with the National Guard. We became parents in our first year of marriage, and now we're raising Luke (almost 13), Blake (10), and Reese (8.5) here in my hometown of Bay City. Like many locals, I once swore I'd move away as soon as I could —but God had other plans. After having our boys, I had my sights set on college, but in 2016 I felt called in a new direction and started selling clothing from home with Agnes & Dora. What began as a small goal to help with a few bills quickly grew into something so much bigger within my first month, I sold 100 times more than I expected!
Next up is... Name: Kristine Marie Education: 3 Associate Degrees in Merchandising, Marketing and Advertising. I also have a Dual Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Management with a focus on Fashion, from Northwood University. How long have you been with a boutique by RC: 5 and a half years! What do you like to do in your free time: read, binge tv shows, ride my Harley and travel Fun fact: I love, love, love bucket lists. Because of them I have run a half marathon, completed a triathlon, been sky diving, flew to Cali to see the Golden Gate Bridge and Pacific Ocean. Favorite quote: "I can't go back to yesterday, because I was a different person then." -Alice in Wonderland I love adventure and my heart is filled with wanderlust, I've explored 33 U.S. states on my Harley—3o of them during a solo two-week ride to celebrate turning 30! My journey began in the beer and wine industry, where I spent 15 corporate years before transitioning to the boutique world with my seeeester. It was in that spirited (ha get it (P) environment that I met my husband, lan; we've been married for eight years. Together, we share a love for travel and ticking off bucket list goals. I've already marveled at the Pyramids of Giza and am set to visit Christ the Redeemer this September, steadily making my way through visiting the Seven Wonders of the World. Whether it's discovering hidden gems across all 50 states or immersing myself in global cultures, I'm driven by the thrill of new experiences and the stories they bring. At home, I channel my creativity into decorating, always seeking fresh ideas to enhance our living space. I'm also passionate about learning homesteading skills-like canning, bread baking, and gardening— to cultivate a more self-sufficient and fulfilling lifestyle.
Next up is our long time friend, who started as a "volunteer to fold clothes during Deal or No Deal" and has stuck with us ever since- Jillian! Name: Jillian Frizzell Certification: Cosmetology License How long have you been with a boutique by RC: 3 and 1/2 years What do you enjoy doing in your free time: what free time?!? Clean and sleep! Fun fact: I am a craft nerd at heart Favorite quote: Have the day you deserve! I started chasing my dreams early— graduating from beauty school two weeks before high school, all at the age of 17. I've been with my husband, Steve, since I was 15 (we're that rare young love success story). Fun fact: my bachelorette party was in Canada because I wasn't old enough to party in the U.S.! Life hasn't slowed down since — especially after adopting twins through foster care. They keep me on my toes with double the fun and double the stress. I've been lucky to have Rachel as a bestie by my side for 20 years—she's basically family at this point.
Next up is our fabulous, bubbly and sweet Casey Name: Casey Kayner College: MSU and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Anthropology (we she told us what that was, Casey told us think BONES the tv show) How long have you been with a boutique by RC: 11/2 years What do you enjoy doing in your free time: reading, concerts and traveling Fun fact: I have a knack for party planning! It's something I love to do, especially if there's a theme! I'm the oldest of three and super close with my two younger brothers and my soon-to-be sister-in-law. Every week, I have girls' night with five of my best friends—we eat, drink, craft, and catch up on all the latest tea. Traveling is one of my biggest passions, and I'm on a mission to visit all 50 states before I turn 50. (I'm well on my way!) I've been to 49 concerts so far-mostly country music-with KISS being the most unforgettable show yet. Fun fact: I cannot stand eggs, and I stand firmly by that.
Let's start with our sweet Elle, the newest and youngest employee Name: Elle Ayers College: 2nd Year at SVSU working towards a Bachelor's in Business Administration How long have you been at a boutique by RC: since August of 2024 Hobbies or favorite things to do in your free time: reading, binging favorite shows, volleyball (watching, playing or coaching) and making earrings. Fun fact: I've been under the Golden Gat bridge more than I've been over it! Favorite quote or thought: Cognitive Dissonance- when you're too involved with the thing you believe in, you can't see the proof that it's not there. I'm a passionate and driven individual who's made nine moves across Michigan, California, Missouri, and Indiana -each one adding a new chapter to my journey. I'm currently working toward my business degree at SVSU and hold six sales certifications. My background blends a love for numbers— math has always been my favorite subject-with a creative eye for style, especially when it comes to decorating and redecorating my home (rainy Saturdays are made for it!). I'm also a devoted animal lover— dogs, especially, have my heart.
